12th Sept - Night at The Abbey - Glastonbury Abbey. 6pm to 10pm. An evening of music, lights and entertainment. Five different stages across the Abbey bring you pop, rock, folk and classical from a range of local artists and performers. Marquee serving hot snacks, cakes and the Abbey's very own cider. The dazzling coloured lights bring the Abbey to life. Bring your camera, a torch or some glow sticks and discover the Abbey as you've never seen it before! Adult tickets just £3 each from here. 12th - 14th Sept - The Motorhome Show - Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet. As well as being an amazing exhibition of motorhomes and accessories it is also a huge gathering for all the major motorhome clubs and a fantastic weekend even for the casual motorhomer.

25th Oct - Glastonbury Zombie Walk 2014

Hiding deep beneath Glastonbury, a hoard of marauding Zombies lie in wait to be let loose.  Martha Care charity is Glastonbury’s official town Zombie handler and they are allowing the walking undead to roam the High Street once more.The zombies will be gathering outside the Crown Inn on Glastonbury Market Place from 3.30 pm. At 5pm the zombies will be let free to feed in the High Street. See more here

1st Nov - Bridgwater Carnival - The biggest and the best of all the Somerset carnivals. This annual Guy Fawkes event, claims to be Europe's largest illuminated carnival and is the oldest event of its kind in the UK. Just 15 miles from Old Oaks, why not jump on our organised coach and spend the evening being amazed and astonished at the carnival carts and walking performers.

15th Nov - Glastonbury Carnival. Glastonbury & Guy Fawkes Carnival is one of the largest illuminated carnivals in the world which does not fail to astound 30,000 spectators every year. Their applause, cheers of delight and amazement prove just how fantastic this show is. Visit once and you'll want to see it again and again.
